NOTICE OF DETERMINATION FOR PANDEMIC EMERGENCY UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION

You qualify for the Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) extension of your regular Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits. This federal extension provides up to 53 additional weeks of benefits. The first 13 weeks under a PEUC Tier 1 extension has been filed for you. If you collect these 13 weeks of benefits, and the PEUC program has not ended, then the Employment Development Department (EDD) will automatically file the next weeks of benefits for you. You will receive separate notices from the EDD after the additional weeks of benefits are filed.

In order to receive benefits, you must certify your eligibility for each week. The fastest way to certify for PEUC benefits and find more information about your claim is to visit UI OnlineSM

According to the federal law, the PEUC extension benefits are payable until you collect all weeks of benefits available, you are eligible for a new regular UI claim, or the PEUC program ends on September 6, 2021, whichever comes first.
