You are receiving this notice because you were found ineligible for federal Mixed Earner Unemployment Compensation (MEUC) benefits on your unemployment claim effective

The MEUC program allows for an additional weekly payment of ‎$100 to eligible unemployment claimants who meet all MEUC requirements under the federal law.

Federal law prohibits paying you MEUC benefits because:

You did not submit the requested documents to prove your Blank line net (after taxes and deductions) income from self-employment was at least ‎$5,000 by the due date of Blank line.(CARES Act, 15 U.S.C., section 9023 [b][1][C])

You are receiving benefits on a Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claim. (CARES Act, 15 U.S.C., section 9021 [a][3][A][i])
You are receiving benefits on a Training Extension claim. (CARES Act, 15 U.S.C., section 9023 [g2] and [i][2])
You were not eligible for at least ‎$1 of unemployment benefits. This includes any situation where your unemployment benefits were not applied to your overpayment debt for the week(s) ending: MM/DD/YYYY Dash- MM/DD/YYYY , MM/DD/YYYY Dash- MM/DD/YYYY. (CARES Act, 15 U.S.C., section 9023 [b][1])

Appeal Rights

This decision is final unless appealed within 30 days of the mail date of this notice. Appeals must be in writing and be sent to the field office listed on this notice. The Appeal Form (DE 1000M) is available on our website at edd.ca.gov/pdf_pub_ctr/de1000m.pdf In your appeal you must state the reasons why you do not agree with this decision.

When your appeal is received, your case will be reviewed. If the decision remains the same, we will send your appeal to the Office of Appeals. If you appeal after the 30 days, you must include the reason for the delay. The Administrative Law Judge will determine whether you had good cause for the delay. If the Administrative Law Judge determines you did not have good cause for submitting your appeal late, your appeal will be dismissed.
