Register for a UI Online Account

If you have not registered for a UI Online account, visit edd.ca.gov/UI_Online with your EDD Customer Account Number (EDDCAN). Your EDDCAN was mailed to you on the Employment Development Department Customer Account Number Notification (DE 5614).

Find Your EDDCAN

If you cannot locate your EDDCAN, submit an online request through Ask EDD by visiting askedd.edd.ca.govSelect Unemployment Insurance Benefits, UI Online (UIO), then UIO - EDD Customer Account Number. Complete the form and submit your request. You may also call
‎1-800-300-5616 from 8 am to 8 pm, seven days a week, except state holidays.
