The Mixed Earner Unemployment Compensation (MEUC) program pays an additional $100 per week in supplemental unemployment benefits to claimants who earned self-employment income in the year prior to their claim, apply for the program, and meet all MEUC eligibility requirements under federal law.
Under federal law, you will not be eligible for MEUC and should not apply if:

You must mail documents that clearly prove your net income from self-employment to avoid processing delays and prevent disqualification. Depending on the documents you provide, you may need to submit additional documents to prove your income and that you were self-employed.
Important: All documents must be submitted on 8.5" x 11" paper and include on each page your Social Security number or EDD Customer Account Number (EDDCAN) located at the top of this page.
Sign this application and mail it with your documents to the EDD in the envelope provided, or to the address on the top of this notice.
I declare under penalty of perjury that the information I have provided is true and correct to the best of my knowledge or belief and that the income documents provided belong to me. I understand that intentional misrepresentation of my income is fraud and that I may be subject to criminal prosecution if I have been found to have committed fraud to receive Mixed Earner Unemployment Compensation.
