You have submitted four consecutive Work Sharing Certification, DE 4581WS, forms on which your employer reported more than a 60 percent reduction in work and wages for each week. The rules of Work Sharing eligibility stipulate that a claimant who submits four consecutive DE 4581WS forms showing more than a 60 percent reduction in work and wages in a week with the Work Sharing employer is not eligible for additional Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefit payments in the Work Sharing program.
You may qualify to receive UI benefits through a regular claim. Please apply immediately for regular UI benefits because the claim will be effective the first Sunday of the week in which the Employment Development Department (EDD) receives your application or you contact the EDD. The easiest and fastest way to file is using
eApply4UI on the EDD website at
www.edd.ca.gov. You may also file by calling one of our toll-free numbers listed below.
